SC, OBC students preparing for civil services in BHU will be provided free coaching for one year. They will get this facility on 100 seats. Out of 300 candidates called for counseling on Saturday, 100 students from both the categories were selected. The special thing is that the government will give Rs 75 thousand per student to the university for the coaching expenses of these students. At the same time, the university will also give a scholarship of Rs 4,000 to the students every month.
Under the Dr. Ambedkar Center of Excellence in the University, free coaching will be provided for the preparation of Civil Services Preliminary and Main Examination. The result was declared on 20 December after the written examination. Against the 100 seats allotted, 300 candidates were called for the counseling to be held on Saturday morning. The list of candidates was finalized after the counseling which lasted till around 7 pm under the supervision of Ramesh Kumar Nigam, Assistant Registrar of the Centre. Told that the selected students will get a scholarship of Rs 4,000 every month, which will help them in their preparation. The student who passes the main examination of IAS, PCS will also be given Rs 15,000 by the center for the interview.
Coaching will run in the new building near CDC
The Assistant Registrar said that coaching will be conducted in the new building being constructed near the Central Discovery Center (CDC) building in the university campus. Selected students will be able to attend classes at the scheduled time for one year. After the completion of the counseling process, the necessary classes for preparation will start from January. The decision on the date will also be taken soon.
